Big Horn 19053 8-Inch Caliper Set, 3-Piece
free stuff, February 9th, 2010 I have been using these for woodturnings. I can lock in my diameters with the thumb wheel, and they stay put. The humid hot evnironment of my shop when I am out doesn’t seem to have any negative impacts on these like it would cheaper metals. I halfway expected surface rust on them by now… They are holding up great! I gave them 4 instead of 5 merely because they did not include a protective case for the set, and are a little on the small side. (I am going to need an outside caliper that can do 12″ diameter eventually…)
